Our Family, Our Farm.

We're Jon and Tricia Chitwood
Jon is the Chief Beekeeper, Shepherd, and Business Manager of The Farm. He earned his BA from the University of Kansas in Communication Studies. He's now communicating with bees, sheep, and Mother Earth.
In 2009 Jon completed the Kauffman foundation's FastTrac course in entrepreneurship. Jon is currently pursuing a master beekeeping certificate. As part of this effort, he completed the University of Nebraska's master beekeeping course 2010 and queen rearing course in 2011.
Tricia is the Chief Wordsmith and Child Wrangler. While her BA from KU is in Political Science and French, she hopes to apply her GT (green thumb) to The Farm and expand the flower and vegetable quotient.
The kids include Reece and Matalyn. As the Farm to expands, our hope is that each child will be able to find something they enjoy to add to the family farm's offerings
